Value, Versatility and Integrity

SPA welcomes it’s 70th Panther builder, Mr. Skip Haneline from Nebraska City, Nebraska!  Welcome to the Panther Family, Skip!  We look forward to updates on your build progress.

Builders have been successful building and flying their Panther aircraft.

This is an exciting time for us and we are happy to share some builders progress photos and a video from our weekend co-hosting a Corvair Finishing College with William Wynne at our shop in Green Cove Springs, FL.  Keep scrolling to see everything.

Larry Vetterman’s canopy and skirt bonded in 5 hours of work

Larry Vetterman’s canopy looks like a great fit to the skirt. (the rear lower kick out is used to square out the skirt while fitting but gets trimmed later).

This is the SPA supplied tail wheel spring. Tony has it installed here.

Here you can see Tony’s trim tab and how he secured the hinge pin.

Corvair Builder Progress

This weekend we co-hosted a finishing school with William Wynne with FlyCorvair.com for some Corvair builders at our shop.  We had four builders who had built the majority of their engines at their homes and just needed to get their engines on the test stand and run it.  See a short video (2:41) below (double click to make full screen) on their inspiring progress.
