On the ninth day of Christmas our Panther Builder and Designer decided he wasn’t going to be left out of the fun!
Here is a note from Dan and a few photos, flying Paul Salter’s Corvair powered Panther LS.
Autopilot coupled, 3.0L Corvair Purring @ 70% power, temps and pressures perfect, smooth as glass @156 IAS and over 168 TAS. It was a beautiful flight home from the another successful Deland Showcase. Im flying the world famous Pauls Salter’s ( AKA super Salter) Panther LS N908XP (thanks Paul)!
The reflection of roll bar on the canopy looks like I have horns. HAHA! At the end of a short X country home from the Deland Showcase I’m about to have some real fun. Right after this photo I beat up Pauls N908XP Panther LS for about 15 minutes doing aerobatics over our home Haller Airpark. I guess I should apologize to Paul for abusing his toy, but remember the horns…. Plus She’s a tough Kitty and I know she enjoyed it also!
