Lou Rosner has taken his Panther up for her first few flights – and is very impressed with the aircraft! Lou is at Spruce Creek Airport in Port Orange, FL and is a first time builder. He completed his Panther build in approx 900 hours. His Panther is the Sport model and is powered by a Lycoming Thunderbolt YIO-320 and a Sensenich ground adjustable 3-blade propeller. Lou has a full Dynon installation in his panel. He reports climbing, with the current prop settings, over 2k ft per min and at 5k ft altitude his top speed at 2700 RPM is 183 kts (over 210 MPH!). He says the aircraft doesn’t have any bad habits and is a delight to fly.
Congratulations Lou! Your hard work is paying off with your personal hot rod in the sky!
