So no OSH AirVenture for 2020, and we are all bummed about it. We understand, we get it, yes it is probably the right thing to do…..but we still all look forward to this week. This sparked an idea of doing a virtual gathering of the builders. Here is a snippet of the email we sent out a month or so ago.
Hello Panther Builders!
What a weird year! I hope all of you are staying safe, healthy and some progress on your projects are happening!
This year is definitely going down in history – as what, exactly, is still yet to be seen. However, to try and stay together when we are forced to be apart – I had an idea.
OSH is where a great deal of us get our face to face time in. Where we get to talk about what is going on in our lives, where we are in our projects, what progress has been made, what progress is lacking, what triumphs we have enjoyed and where the bottle necks are. It is where we connect, relax, enjoy the unpredictability of the WI weather, eat some good BBQ and catch-up.
Missing your OSH fix this year? Or – Never been to OSH? Well here is your chance! Not exactly the same….but in the effort of making lemonade out of lemons and all that…
What I would like to do is post something each day that we would have been at OSH that features what is going on in your lives – updates on you, your project, your workshop and your goals. ….I am really excited about this project and it is making me feel a lot better about not being able to see you all this year at the best airshow in the world! So, talk to me, show me your projects and lets all catch up – virtually!
The response was wonderful and we have a great line up in store for you. The videos will run all this coming week – July 20th through the 26th, just like we are at OSH!
