We are very proud to share the news on Andrew Shorter’s first flight in his Panther SN033 powered by his Corvair 3.0L engine. Andy has a Sensenich propeller pulling his 3.0L Corvair. His glass panel is the GRT Sport 8.4 along with their EIS system, that is a very popular and successful configuration in the Panther – regardless of your engine configuration.
A note from Andy –
“First flight this weekend finally! A two year project “crammed” into five years. Flew great from the get go, trimmed up perfect with no issues noted throughout the speed range. It is really a nicely balanced airplane, flew several flights under various conditions and there were no surprises. There is no way I would have completed this without the great kit design, quality parts and outstanding support from SPA, for both airframe and engine!

No way I’ll get in 40 hours before Deland next month but I wish I could be there.
