Value, Versatility and Integrity

We have worked for weeks to get the Panther prototype ready for inspection – and I am ecstatic to say that all of the hard work, determination and lack of sleep for Team Panther has paid off! We have our pink slip!

Thank you to all of the many contributors to our success over the last few weeks.
In no particular order thank you to:

Bob Woolley – thank you for your expert fiberglass work.
James Weseman – thank you for your excellent machining skills on the mill that produced the new, and improved, set of landing gear legs.
William Wynne – for all of your help with the engine, you have been invaluable in getting the Panther engine running.
Jim Weseman – thank you for designing the custom cowling baffling for the Panther, and lending your support and sheet metal expertise along the way.
Vernon Stevenson – Thank you for all of your help with painting the fuselage and your master welding skills.
Chris Welsh – thank you for your help with the fuel tanks!
Tony Spicer – Thank you for documenting how your build is going so well that we can turn to your photos and captions for a visual how to. And thank you for your excellent research skills on “who has what for the best price, fast!” Your support has been so helpful, and your enthusiasm is contagious!
Alan McLeod – thank you for giving us un-restricted access to your extensive stash of hardware – we never seemed to have the right length bolt – and were a life saver!
Chris Smith – thank you for taking so much of your time with the wiring. You really saved us on this one!
Paul Salter – for being the resident structural and mechanical engineer, for always being there – even for the grunt work, even when it is late and cold, even when everyone else has gone home….your dedication is unwavering and inspiring. Most of all thank you for your friendship. We owe you big time!

Some photos below, will post more shortly.

This shows the fuel tank disconnect and fuel sender – Just pull the wing out a few inches, disconnect both and go. No need to drain the tanks, these fittings are guaranteed to drop a max of 3 drops and they are outside of the airframe. You can even fill the tanks at a gas station on the way to the airfield.
