UL power update

Post by danweseman »

Ul Power fans.
As many of you know we have been working with Both Robert Helms (UL power USA) , and Sam Kite ,the first UL power Panther builder to finalize the engine mount and cowling for the UL power line. With Sams aircraft finished enough to weigh we were able to finalize the engine locations. We initially planned to use try and use the "universal" cowl to avoid extra tooling cost. The UL series fits nicely inside the Universal cowl. W&B does not allow this so a new UL specific cowl and tooling are in the works. We should have a "dummy" UL engine at the shop in the next few weeks to do the initial plug work. Rachel will likely be position pictures as we progress.
I am excited to see the UL line powering Panthers soon. With the light weight and high power they should perform great!
As always feel free to open a support ticket (support@flywithspa.com) or Call 904 626 7777 ext 403 with any questions
