I purchased the standard oil cooler, lines, fittings, and rear cylinder baffling kit for my O-320 from Van’s. The clearance from the top cowl can be a challenge so I built a stand off with aluminum angle and lowered the cooler. Paul Dye has some great pictures on VAF for his RV-3 that is similar. Cooling in the summer is spot on, but I need to to cover it in the winter to get 180 oil temp.

I used the Aero Classic 8000075, 7 row oil cooler, (ACS P/N 08-00640). Last summer The highest oil temp was 185 degrees on a 95 degree day. But even in the winter with it blocked off I'm doing well to get the temp up to 160 degrees. I did spent a lot of time fabricating a really good set of baffles. My cooler is mounted behind the #4 cylinder. I could send you a few photos if would like.

All the O320 powered Panthers I’ve seen pictures of have a 7 row oil cooler. Are any of you guys experiencing high oil temps with with those coolers? Any Titan guys/gals here that can give me info on what you installed? I’ve seen coolers mounted on the baffles, those of you that have that setup are you getting enough cooling?
