Hey Phil,

You could most likely figure it out on your own. For starters, build a prototype Cougar. Then fly the 40 hour Phase I, then most likely fly it some more. Then get the print package completely finished. Ditto the builders manual. While all that is going on, keep the pipeline full of Panther kits. So what's your best guess?

Tony

Yea. I am curious if rear seat PIC has been considered as well... Sure would keep the CG shifting down to a minimum if it was designed around this. Issue to me is small front seat tandems planes tend to get nose heavy real quick when flying solo (even more so if heavier engine or prop was used) and the result is difficult 3 point or full stall landings other positives like Ken said with aerobatics and having a more consistent CG for control feel and safety. Just a thought...

Looking Great! Has/is rear seat solo being considered ? That would make a truly magnificent airplane, more so for those aerobatically inclined :)

The Cougar looks great and just what I am looking for, a 2 seat fun ship that can go upside down at a reasonable price. Very exciting stuff!
