Hey Rick,
I can't think of any argument against the quick release canopy. Not only is it a fantastic safety feature, but it makes canopy removal for maintenance extremely fast and easy.

For example, I am in the process of vinyl wrapping my panther. I went to the airport popped the canopy off and took it home to work on it in the air conditioning.

Hope this helps, my 2 cents.

Quick release canopy

Post by at7000ft »

Guys

Am starting work on the canopy frame and have a question about this sentence in the BM:

"If you are installing the quick release canopy layout and cut slots in the bottom of the right side angle."

Why would I not want the quick release canopy and therefore not want to cut the two slots in the right side angle?

Thanks

Rick
