Set up a 4X8 table in the garage. Tail kit came in today. Beautiful parts, nice job packing, and all parts checked in. Very nice print quality, too! Team SPA, fine job! ;) Gathering tools next!

Also when you decide to continue with buying kits give me a shout I got a extra tail, aft fuse, sport wing kit I'm trying to sell for way cheaper than you can buy new. They also come with hardware kits for all (pm for info) If you decide to go with the corvair I'm sure you'll be happy. I know the 3.3l is my plan.
Matthew,

Appreciate the offer! Tail kit is supposed to arrive today, so getting the garage set up today.

Best Regards,

Congratulations on your new Panther tail kit !! It goes together pretty fast. It's a fun build because you can see real progress with almost every work session. But it's even more Fun to Fly!

We have Panther LS, S/N 083, with a Lyc O-235, 108 max HP, long wing, ~800 lbs empty weight, and I fly it Light Sport. No worries keeping it well within LSA weight limits. I've flown it a few times off grass, which it handles very well.
Visibility & Handling are superb. You're gonna love it!

Les,

Read about your "Radio Flyer" when it was completed. Was wondering about finished weight with an 0-235. Don't see many of those for sale.

Thanks for the Welcome!

A Corvair is a great choice but before buying anything I recommend you get and read William Wynne's Corvair conversion manual, and/or discuss with Dan. The 140 HP cores are not the best to start with.
Rick,

Thanks for the info in the 140HP core. Been reading on William Winn's website.

Also helped an A&P remove a C-85 out of a Tri-Champ and took the engine apart to have a case leak repaired. Will assist putting the engine back together to learn about working on Continentals. Not sure which way I'm going on engines, yet.

Appreciate the Welcome!
