Thanks Tony. I'm good up to photo #285, that's where I'd like some clarification. There doesn't appear to be much metal to drill into on the female arm. Does it get riveted on both ends or is there a through bolt (doesn't look like enough room for a bolt)? Is there a target location to drill through (it looks like you drilled top to bottom with the elevators in the neutral location)?

As I'm working on the horizontal stabilizer, I'd like to attach the elevator halves to their joiner control arms. I figure it would be easier to do this now, rather than after mounting the fiberglass tips. The tail section manual tells how to attach the joiner control arms to the ribs, but now how to mount the joiner control arms together.
