Simon,

Here's the two-place Cougar info: http://flypanther.net/2013/11/29/what-w ... look-like/

Plans and builders manual are outstanding.

Fuel capacity is 27 gal. Jab 3300 worst case is 6 gph.

Rachel will have to answer the rest of your questions.

I have passed along contact info for the two Aussie Panther builders.

Tony

Newbie Question

Hi All, quick introduction. From Syd, Australia and for the last 12 mths have been intent on building a RV7. All tools acquired, along with the empenage and am just about to order the wing kit. In saying that, there is the realisation that I will be building for many more years ...and would like something to fly in the meantime (that's easily transportable) and that's where the Panther comes into it.

There has been very little publicity of this aircraft in Australia, but for the recent EAA article.

After checking the website, I'm inlcined to buy the full kit - but would like some advice.

1. Can additional aux fule tanks be mounted in the wing?
2. What is the current fuel consumption (and range) for 120 - 160 HP?
3. To save me ordering from different suppliers, can all items be shipped from Panther (ie: can I have hardware kits and whatever else shipped to Panther for their inclusion).
4. Anyone know what I would be up for w.r.t to international shipping to Australia.
5. Crating dimensions?
7. How would you rate the plans?

Thanks in advance!
