Tony. I may not have given all the information when I told you We did not roll the top forward skin with a slip roll. We didnt use a slip roll but did my trick of clamping between two wood blocks then"putting"a roll in the skin by carefully working it in a arc on table top.the roll is in the last 8inchs on left and right side. Rest is wrappped.we will be fitting Pauls in the next few weeks and if rolling by any method is needed we will do it.I was working on revised pattern today .....sorry for confusion

Tony,
It almost looked like the boot cowl overlapped the fuselage side. Looking a little closer at your pictures, I see the how it butts against the side skin.
Thanks,
Glen

Glen,
There's no joggle. That's a mark left by the rolling device when the pinch rollers slipped a bit. Quick lick with a scotchbrite pad and it went away. The boot cowl skin butts against the side skin. And just a reminder that it was my choice to roll the sides. The prototype has a flat wrap, so I suspect the kits will as well.

Tony,
How did you make the offset (is it called a joggle?) on the bottoms of your boot cowl? I'm referring to your Picasa album, pictures 215 and 218 (near the blue line on 218).
