Yes, The prototype does use the GRT display for the fuel levels, and is compatible with capacitance or resistance type fuel probes.

I agree, the stuff Jim Weibe at Belite has come up with some fantastic stuff (very un-general aviation like). Does the Panther prototype use the GRT EFIS for fuel level indicators?

This is a system I am considering using when I build:
http://beliteaircraftstore.com/unfuga1.html

The owner of Belite (an ultralight airplane company) is Jim Weibe, who ran an electrical engineering / manufacturing firm before selling the company and "retiring" to completely revolutionize the ultralight industry. He has lots of really cool instruments for ultralight aircraft, but this one appears to be suitable for Experimentals as well. He gives talks at Sun-N-Fun and Oshkosh, and his passion for aviation, innovative skills, and engineering brilliance come across quite readily.

Check them out!

Thanks, I read those posts, but did not get that all you needed was a different selector. Does it return the fuel to the tank through the feed line? I had expected that it would need a separate line for the return. Also, since the capacitance senders were mentioned, I like those and might want to use them. They are expensive. Is there any benefit in the end result for using the capacitance over the resistance float type?

I think this was covered in a post a few weeks back , but the tanks do not need to be built any different for a UL ,or any other fuel injected engine? The return for the regulator is plumbed into the fuel selector. it is a specific selector that will return fuel to the tank you have selected.

Fuel Tank Builders manual shell is done, only missing photos. Should have those started this week, and hopefully uploaded by end of weekend. Plan sheets as well.

This, then, warrants the question... When will the plans and builders manual for the tanks be complete? I am planning to build my tanks to accommodate the 350iS engine.

Yes, if you got the parts, I would think.

Build away! No reason you need to build the wing structure before the control surfaces or tanks.

Question about wing component build order - after building the spar can the ailerons, flaps, and fuel tanks be built before starting the main wing structure?

Thanks
