Universal cowl for Corvair engine

My starting engine for the Panther is going to be a 2700 CC Corvair engine, because it is what I have. However my hope is that one day I will be able to upgrade to the UL Power. Considering that, will the Universal Cowl work with the Corvair engine so I can keep the paint job when I upgrade?
