Tailcone

Need a little advice.
Due to not having access to a bending break at the time, I built my tailcone w/o first first bending the forward sides and bottom skins. I have everything ready to dimple so I'm now ready to make those bends. However, the longerons are about 1/8" too long (I have proper overhang at the aft end of the tailcone). Is it more important to have the correct skin overlap for the bend (7/8" bottom and 3/4" sides), in which case I will need to trim 1/8 off the longerons or should I leave them as is and accept a little less skin overlap?
Thanks,
Steve
