Not exactly, but I have installed an exterior and interior handle to help with lifting and closing. They are installed just aft of the latch handle and are very helpful.
I find no photos on my site, but can get some tomorrow if you are interested.

Anyone installed a small exterior handle at left rear of canopy to help with latching from outside?

To save space on the Forum, I made a post to my PantherBuilder site.
Look closely at the interior photos and you can see where the "add on" starts.
If you have any questions, just ask.

I am aware of 2 methods. One was from another builder, several years ago. He cut "finger" slits in the front edge to allow that part to be strapped down after applying a resin mixture with micro or something. It appeared to work fairly well. The other was from this builder about a year ago. I sanded the top and under side of the forward edge down to the glass fibers. I then put shelf paper on the boot cowl section that would be under the canopy front section. I then laid up fiberglass, 3 layers, I think, on the front area to extend forward enough to get a smooth transition from the boot cowl, to the canopy. When cured, I took the canopy off and added a micro mixture to the fill the gaps on the under side and laid up one layer of glass to cover that section. When cured, I trimmed and sanded to the shape I wanted. If you are interested, I can send photos of the finished product, tomorrow afternoon.

Unable to find a previous discussion on this. Anyone have ideas on getting a good fit, canopy front skirt to top boot cowl?
