The first customer built Panther LS to receive his pink slip from the FAA is Stephen Pedano! Congratulations Stephen! We know it has been a long road with us and we appreciate your patience, always positive attitude and your tenacity. What a great job you have done, sir!
Stephen is a local Haller Airpark resident and builder of Panther SN006. He built the Panther LS (long wing) model and chose the Lycoming O-320 as his power plant. His instrumentation system consists of a Garmin Area 560, GRT Sport 8.5 and a Flight Line FL-760 transceiver. His wheels are the larger of the two Panther options – the 5×5. He is using the Heavy duty brake option we offer from Matco, along with our 6″ tail wheel option. The wheel pants are our smaller of our two options. He is also using our optional elevator counter balance weight. His propeller is a WhirlWind Ground Adjustable propeller.
Here are some photos of Steve’s airplane after the DAR inspection. He was working on putting it back together to prep for it’s first flight. If weather is good that should be this week!
