Tom Kodey’s Panther LS Maiden Flight 2 comments

Tom Kodey celebrated his maiden flight in his Panther LS on Friday March 13th.  Tom lives in Port Orange, FL and has his airplanes in a hanger at the Deland Municipal Airport (KDED) – Home of the Deland Sport Aviation Showcase.  Tom’s Panther is powered by a Corvair 3.3L from SPA and FlyCorvair’s Engine in a Box option.  He has the Sensenich ground adjustable carbon fiber propeller installed on the front of the Corvair and here is what Tom said about his maiden flight:

“Did my first flight this morning. Everything was great, no problems at all. Flew for almost an hour and it was a real fun flight. The Panther handled great!”

Nice Job Tom! Been following your build and good to see another Panther in the air. I will be moving faster than before now due to job promotion and time relief. ; ) Definitely will be looking for stats with your 3.3L up front as I’m moving in that direction as well with power plant. Blue Sky’s
