Builders Update 1 comment

These last few weeks have been milestones for Panther builders.  Take a look at what some of them have been up to in their Panther Caves:

Builder Bill Mosher, Greer, SC, has joined the rear and forward fuselage

And then it was time to climb in and see how it feels!

How many horses will it really have when it is all done? We shall see....;)

Andy Shorter, New Bern, NC , is a retired Harrier pilot and a first time builder.  He is a true testimony to how through determination, patience and research that the Panther can be completed by a first time builder.  Look at how well he has documented his build through photos HERE.

And look at Eric Muehlberg, New Castle, OK, and his Panther on the gear!

Builder Brent Mayo, Fernandina, FL, is making progress as well, considering he just started his build about a month ago.  He is documenting his build HERE.

Brent is prepping spars for riveting. He had the spars riveted before lunch!

Brent is prepping spars for riveting.

Started early Sat morning (7am) getting everthing setup to squeeze the rivets in the spars. It took me about 2 hours to squeeze all the rivets in one spar. All the revits were preloaded in the spar and I applied blue painters tape to hold them in place. The squeezer Dan loans out works great:) Thanks to Dan and crew for providing squeezer. I finished riveting both spars up before lunch.
