1.Left side wing guides. Check the thickness of P4903, P4908 outer guide and P4904 lower adjuster guide, they should be 3/16” thick. P4904 guides have a taper, shorter edge should be inboard. Early ones may need to be sanded or filed to 3/16” thick. Bevel edges as shown below, and countersink holes with a 100 degree countersink for #8 screws. Head of screw should be recessed below the surface of the guide by approximately 1/32” to 1/16”. Install each guide block with 2 MS24693-S29S51 screws, 2 AN960-6L8L washers and 2 MS21044N06MS21044N08 nuts.
2. Install P4908 guide to forward spar plate on left hand side. P4908 should extend nearly to the floor, and should be 3/16” thick. While the one pictured is Red, yours will be white nylon.
3. Right side wing guides. Check the thickness of P4903, P4908 outer guide and P4904 lower adjuster guide, they should be 3/16” thick. P4904 guides have a taper, shorter edge should be inboard.
