1. Position throttle cable into the inner most hole at the bottom of the bracket. There is a groove cut in the housing of the throttle and mixture cable that will slide into the slot on the bracket.
2. With the throttle roughly positioned in the center of travel, position bracket so that the throttle cable is roughly parallel with the top of the spar box. For this install it was approximately 2.5” above the spar box. Edge of flange on angle should be up against the fuselage tube.
3. Transfer drill the 5 #40 holes in the bracket into the skin. Updrill the holes to #30, deburr and rivet with BSPS-43 or BSC-43 rivets as desired.
4. Safety wire throttle and mixture cables in place. These pictures show the mixture cable safety wired. Throttle cable is done in a similar fashion.
5. Carburetor heat cable ACS # A-740 120 inches long can be mounted in the upper most hole.
