Re: Canopy hinge side photos
Sean,
Here's a cross-section of the hinge:

Angle piece would have to be installed a little further inboard so as to not block pin removal. Sticky back foam inboard of the hinge would provide weather tight sealing.

Re: Canopy hinge side photos
Sean,
The right side of canopy is trimmed flush with bottom of canopy frame. This will allow canopy to open without pitching fuselage side. There is a "L" filler strip that will be installed inside under canopy frame to fill gap with the canopy closed. It's really not noticeable once built and painted. See my builder log for canopy pictures.

Canopy hinge side photos
Does anyone have finished photos of their canopy they could share?
Specifically, I am looking for a right side view with the canopy open and closed. Also, something looking aft with canopy open.
I've look at everyone's builder blogs and can't see how the side seals up while being able to open without hitting the skin.
Thanks!
Sean
