Very nice. That takes all the guess work out of it. This will be nice on the elevator and rudder also.

Drilling Hinges

Dan and I recently came up with this technique to drill hinges for the Panther. Although the pictures attached are for the aileron and flap hinges, the same technique can be used for the rudder, and elevator using the horizontal and vertical stabilizer skins.
The skins have holes drilled to match the tabs/lugs on the hinges. This method will place the holes about 0.020" off from what the drawings show, but is still within tolerances, and makes drilling/marking the hinge much easier and more accurate. It is an approved method from Sport Performance Aviation, and these pictures will be in an upcoming release of the builders manual.
