This is an aileron bell crank and gets installed during the rigging process.

I stole this picture from Tony's Picasa site. I cannot tell how the horn is oriented from the pictures. Looking at this image, if the horn were oriented from aft,( left), to fore, (right) of the rib, with the hump ( bend ) facing out (inboard), which end would be the long end? Pointing to the aft end of the rib or the fore end of the rib?
Also, what attaches to this horn? Does anyone have any pics of that assembly? Is this supposed to be attached after the wing is closed up, or before?
