Liaan,

Very little accuracy required when cutting out rib blanks. +/- 3/32" would be fine. The accuracy is required when forming the ribs. If you're scratch building, just buy the form blocks from SPA and cut your own blanks using the form block as a pattern and you'll be good to go.

Hi,

Benefit will be 100% accurate ribs (making wing profile lot more accurate) and time saving. CNC costs nothing in SA, about $ 20 to cut ~20 ribs vs don't know how many hours doing it by hand.... :D

I'm very interested in plans building the panther as kit prices will be beyond my budget and saving time where ever one can, always make for lot simpler build.

Maybe you guys could consider releasing some of the parts cad drawings, IE, Like the "full size templates" that is provided in the plans? :roll: .. of course you will still have to buy the normal plans to get these nice to haves ;-)

For a more concise answer to your question - the plan drawings will be CAD style drawings, but we will not be providing the CAD files for a CNC shop to route them out (except to our CNC shops of course ;) ).

Just wondering, Will the plans be available in CAD style so one can go to local cnc shop to get ribs etc cut ?
