Baggage Compartment Tunnel

1. Cut a P4118 cheek former angle to 11.75” long.

2. Mark and drill 9 #40 holes as shown in center of each flange

3. With the tail cone belly skin removed. Clamp angle in place to the reversing arm support tube with the flange with only 4 holes against the tube.  The area with no hole goes up, as there is no tube in this area to rivet the angle to.  Reversing arm can be slid out to make it easier to access.

4. Slide right side control tunnel skin against tube and angle.  Make sure skin is flush against steel support tube and aluminum angle.  Transfer drill holes in angle into the steel support tube, cleco as you go.  Up drill holes to #30, deburr, rivet angle to tube using CCP-42 rivets

5. View from outside of cover showing skin clecoed to the angle drilled in previous step.

6. Up drill all holes to #30, and deburr.

7. Position top cover and cutout around fuselage tube.
