1. Position hinge vertically by using other half of the hinge, mounted to some scrap using a 0.060” shim.
2. Position hinge horizontally as shown below. Mark on hinge centerline of holes to match the rib centerline holes at each rib location. These positions were skipped when drilling the hinge. Carefully transfer holes in hinge to aileron, it is recommended to use a drill stop to minimize damage to the inside of the skin.
