1. Gather the 4 pieces (P4114, P4115, P4116 Qty 2) required for the seat bottom. Cleco together as shown. Clecos holding P4116 to P4115 will hold the seat slightly off tube. Position for best fit down the length of the seat tubes. Clamp in position. Mark P4116 pieces along edge of tube. These pieces need a slight bend to fit properly.
2. Bend the tab of the two P4116 seat bottoms to fit seat frame.
3. Position seat bottoms, cleco assembly and transfer drill #40 holes into frame, and updrill to #30. Do not rivet into place yet, it is easier to install stick and flight controls without the seat in place. Leave the seat clecoed into place (a couple at the rear and up from the bottom), the seat will be needed for you to sit in to help position the rudder pedals in the next step.
4. Temporarily install seat back with 2 3/16” bolts in the seat adjuster angles.
5. Seat bottom temporarily clecoed in place. Temporarily install seat back with a couple of 3/16” bolts pinned through seat back into seat frame rails.
