1. Draw 2 rectangles on bottom of the center seat pan, the outer one 1 3/8” away from edge. The inner one should be 3/8” in from the outer one and. Drill 4 ¾” diameter holes in the corners for radius.
2. Cut center of the seat bottom out on the inside rectangle.
3. With the seat pan upside down, bend flanges up, with the bend line being the outside rectangle drawn in step 1.
4. If autopilot servo is installed, the flange over the autopilot bracket needs to be relieved.
5. Cut a new access cover x” x x” out of 6061-T6 0.032” thick. Drill #40 holes around the perimeter. 5 holes on each side, and 7 holes on front and rear edges.
6. Center new access cover on old seat pan. Transfer drill #40 holes in access cover to seat pan. Updrill to #18 (0.169”). Make sure hole on forward right side clears the servo bracket if installed. Install MS21047L08 anchor nuts on seat pan at each hole.
7. Seat pan installed with anchor nuts installed.
8. Install access cover on seat pan using #8 screws ½” long.
