1. Center Slider block hole in center of largest lightening hole on ribs 4 and 7. Clamp in position and transfer drill all of the #30 holes into the rib. Be careful that the block is properly centered as holes may be very close to the radius of the lightening hole flange.
**NOTE – The hole in the nylon slider block must be test fit to the slider tube to ensure the tube will slide freely and not bind. If the fit is tight run a hook style debur tool around the hole to open it up until the tube will slide freely.
3. After one rib has been modified, bolt the rib from the other wing to the one just drilled, using 2 ¼” bolts in the tooling holes. Transfer drill all the holes into the other rib. Repeat this process until all 4 ribs have been drilled. This assures that all of the slider blocks are aligned with each other, and saves time.
4. Deburr all holes on rib and slider block. Prime ribs if desired, and rivet slider blocks in place using 20 BSPS-46 rivets for each of the 4 ribs.
