Understanding Panther Part Numbers:
The part number system was updated by SPA on 6/1/2014 to assist with organizational structures. Please note: If you received parts prior to this date your numerical part number will be from the deprecated numbering system. Please see the table in the corresponding builders manual. The numbering system is simply a SPA internal number and should only be used when checking off packing lists from a shipment you have received. For the part description, which corresponds to where the part belongs in the aircraft please see the table below to explain the layout.
The part numbers on the Panther plans and parts are broken down according to the following structure system:
