1. Position the rudder pedals so that they are in line with each other. A board can be clamped just above the bolt for the brake pedal.
2. Check that the rudder is centered, this can be done with a straight edge down the center of the tooling holes on both the vertical stabilizer and rudder.
3. If the rudder is not centered, on the side that the rudder is offset towards go to that sides’ rudder cable adjuster. Remove the bolt attaching the eyelet to the adjuster, and back the eyelet off a few turns. Temporarily reinstall bolt. Recheck that rudder is now centered, repeat if necessary. Make sure the eyelet is not backed off more than halfway. Reinstall bolt and nut when rudder is centered.
