1. Measure the height of the shims that were under the rear spar. Sand or file the height of the rear spar guide to that measurement. Guides are made 2 1/8” tall to allow for this. Clamp rear spar guide in position. It should be resting on the lower fuselage longeron. It also helps to install a 5/8” shim under the inboard end temporarily to hold the guide level. Repeat for the other side.
2. Install screws to attach the rear spar guide in place.
