1. Clean both sides of skin in the area of the drain flange with 100% acetone. Clean the entire drain flange with 100% acetone.
2. Clean the “46 length” flush closed rivets as above with acetone, and let dry on paper towels to remove oil and debris.
3. Neatly coat the mating surface of skin and drain flange with sealant, and install rivets with sealant as before. We typically neatly brush the area around the flange with sealant.
Note: Paint will stick to the sealant.
